- CITI Training (Collaborative IRB Training Initiative)
CITI training is a web-based ethics training course for those conducting research with human subjects. All Principle Investigators, Co-Investigators and study personnel must complete CITI training with a minimum score of 90%. PI and Co-I completion records must be submitted with applications. Completion records of study personnel should be maintained by PI and are subject to periodic inspection.
All Principle Investigators and Co-Investigators are required to read and adhere to the principles contained in the Belmont Report, “Ethical Principles and Guidelines for the Protection of Human Subjects of Research.”
- Class Presentations
The Human Subjects' Protection Program provides educational resources and training opportunities for those involved in human subject research. Faculty can arrange for class presentations to discuss ethics and the history of human subject research or the application process.
